I am your Scottish Conservative candidate for the 2026 Scottish Parliament election, and I’m looking for your views on key issues in the Far North.
Dualling the A9, 20mph speed limits, the visitor levy, renewable developments, and more; all are issues which will affect you, and all have their supporters and detractors. Have your say.
I believe locals need to be listened to. The Far North is a remarkable and unique part of Scotland, but is far away from where decisions are made. And the SNP are only interested in keeping power by pushing support to the Central Belt; where they are supported by the Lib Dems who voted for their 2025 budget despite the cuts it contained, and lack of support for the A9 within.
I will put all my energy into getting out across the constituency offering a real alternative to this failure. The Scottish Conservatives’ policies include dualling the A9 by cutting red tape, a reduction in income taxes of up to £444, and giving communities the power over large pylon developments in their area.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you by return of the survey.
