I am your Scottish Conservative candidate for the 2026 Scottish Parliament election, and I’m looking for your views on key issues in the Far North.
Maternity provision, emergency services, tax on farmers, police numbers, renewable developments, and more; are all issues which will affect you, and all have their supporters and detractors. Have your say.
I believe locals need to be listened to. The Far North is a remarkable and unique part of Scotland, but is far away from where decisions are made in Inverness, Edinburgh and London. The SNP have centralised power and decision-making - now the Far North is without the care, safety and services it needs. And the SNP are only interested in keeping power by pushing support to the Central Belt.
I want our rural industries to thrive and to create opportunities for our young people, but the only way we can do that is to say enough is enough. We must cut business tax and inspire entrepreneurs onto our high streets. I'll put my energy into getting out across the constituency offering a real alternative.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you by return of the survey.
