Stand as a councillor!

Highland Council's councillors represent the 21 wards that stretch from Wick, Thurso and Skye all the way to Nairn, Newtonmore and Fort William. They serve their communities by making decisions in Council on issues ranging from infrastructure to planning to education and much more beside. It is a rewarding role for someone who cares for their community and wants to help make it a better place.

The Highland Conservatives have a proud record of standing up for local residents, advocating lower taxes and Council efficiencies, less 'woke' nonsense, and demanding a local say in large-scale developments. Only the Conservatives are standing up for local residents who are worried about issues like women's safety and 50mph speed limits on A-roads.
