Shadow Health Secretary Donald Cameron has urged Nicola Sturgeon to ensure there is a clear schedule in place for people in vaccination priority groups to receive their jabs.
Mr Cameron put his point to the First Minister after she made a statement on Covid-19 in the Scottish Parliament earlier today.
The Highlands and Islands MSP said that it is important that every health board in Scotland issues information giving the time and place that vaccinations will take place.
Speaking later Mr Cameron said: “We are now in a race against the virus which is threatening to spread rapidly, as we strive to get vaccinations to the people who are on the clinical priority list. It is essential that we have clarity on the vaccine roll out and that is why I am urging the Scottish Government to ensure that everyone who needs a vaccine knows exactly where they need to go, and when."
“This is the nitty-gritty planning and organisation that will be required if we are to save lives and get the virus back under control.”
