Reacting to the announcement of current NHS Highland CEO, Iain Stewart, moving to NHS Orkney, Edward Mountain MSP said:
“Having met with the Cabinet Secretary for Health on Thursday 23 January 2020 to discuss matters in relation to NHS Highland, I am surprised by this announcement today.
It is clear there remains considerable issues within the management of NHS Highland and I will be seeking an early meeting with the new interim Chief Executive.
I am deeply concerned about all that is currently going on within the executive management.”
