Cluny Estate has donated 100,000 face masks for use in the Highlands.
The Cluny Estate office contacted Edward Mountain MSP as they wished to provide masks, which had been identified as being in critically short supply, for use in the Highlands.
The use of face masks is now required when providing home care and Highland Home Care had been in contact with Edward informing him of the problems that they were facing.
This generous donation of face masks means that Highland Home Carers will have enough masks for their 500 staff for up to a month of operation.
The masks were flown in to Stanstead airport at the weekend and delivery to the Highland Home Care headquarters in Inverness was overseen by Edward Mountain MSP and accepted by Campbell Mair, Managing Director of Highland Home Carers.
