Further comment on Covid  “Routemap” statement by Nicola Sturgeon

Highlands and Islands Scottish Conservative MSP Jamie Halcro Johnston said:

“This latest announcement from Nicola Sturgeon is little more than a holding statement telling us to come back again in three weeks for more information."

“We all appreciate that absolute certainty is not possible at this stage but, at the same time, many people and businesses will understandably feel disappointed that the First Minister offered so little detail.  The UK Government has provided a clear route out of restrictions, and the Scottish Conservatives have called on SNP ministers to do the same."

“If the SNP has the time to produce a roadmap on independence, they really ought to be able to do better than what they put forward today”.
