Councillor Struan Mackie and supporters out and about in the North
On Thursday 27th the Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross branch of the Highland Conservatives held an action day across Thurso and Northwest Caithness to deliver targeted letters from Ruth Davidson.
Nine members and supporters distributed over 2,500 letters across the Scrabster, Pennyland, Burnside and Ormlie areas of Thurso. The same addresses also received Struan’s first annual newsletter since his election to the Highland Council in 2017.
Members travelled from as far as Ross-shire to help with the deliveries, and despite very temperamental weather all leaflet drops were completed before 4 o’clock, with activists taking a light lunch at the Blue Door café.
A massive thank you to all that helped on the day in getting the message out to constituents that the Conservatives are the only party taking the fight to the SNP!
