River Ness Public Art Project Progressing

Chair of the Inverness City Arts Working Group, Cllr Isabelle MacKenzie, has welcomed the latest step in the River Ness Public Art Project, which is receiving national attention through articles like the one at the link here https://www.scottishfield.co.uk/travel/scotland-travel/creating-a-new-artistic-spot-by-the-river-ness/.  The "My Ness" gathering place is the centrepiece of the project.

The River Ness Public Art Project consists of 6 artworks and is funded by Creative Scotland ( £305K), City of Inverness Common Good Fund (£250K), HIE (£66K) and the Highland Council (£106K) and managed by the Inverness City Arts Working Group for the Highland Council. The budget for the Gathering Place is £300,000.
