Surgery Tour 1

Edward Mountain MSP today has released details of his virtual summer surgery tour.

This summer, the Highlands and Islands MSP is holding thirty virtual surgeries from the end of June to the end of August.

In previous years, Edward Mountain has travelled thousands of miles to hold surgeries and meet with businesses and organisations across the Highlands and Islands.

In 2018, Edward Mountain clocked up over 2,000 miles on his summer surgery tour and this increased to 2,500 miles in 2019.

Commenting on his Virtual Summer Surgery tour, Edward Mountain said:

“I am very much looking forward to undertaking my virtual summer surgery tour and engaging with hundreds of people throughout the region.

I have over 30 surgeries planned for the Summer which are broken down into locations and specific portfolio areas such as health, education, tourism and agriculture.

The lockdown restrictions mean I am unable to embark on my usual 2,500 mile journey this year. However, I am relishing the opportunity to meet with constituents online or via telephone, to listen to their views and take positive action on their behalf.

Please look out for the details of my summer surgeries which will be advertised in local papers and on social media. Booking is essential, so please contact my office to secure your slot.”
