HCUA Chair Mrs A Anderson has added her comments on hearing the sad news that Cllr Ian Ramon has died:
"I was saddened to hear of the death of Ian Ramon and send my deepest sympathy to his family. Ian was a colourful character on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula where he had served as a Lighthouse Keeper and a local Tour Guide, but we will also remember him as a serving Conservative Councillor for Fort William and Ardnamurchan from 2017. He will be sadly missed by both Highland Conservative and Unionist Association and his colleagues in Highland Council."
