2022 Thank you

Cllr Isabelle MacKenzie, one of the Scottish Conservative Inverness councillors, has been very proactive since being nominated as a Highland Older People's Champion in August.  Heavily involved with the Highland Senior Citizens Network (HSCN) - its latest newsletter is at the link - Isabelle is well aware of just how vital this kind of support is for a growing number of senior citizens.

Isabelle is keen to take up any social care, housing and transport issues on behalf of constituents and across the Highlands, so please do get in touch of you want to raise any concerns.

The latest HCSN message is reproduced below:

Dear HSCN Members and Supporters,

It's been a mountain of a year to climb - but some-how we have arrived at the Highland Senior Citizens Network December news-sheet and are able to send our festive greetings and thanks to you all for helping us to get here!

We have one last favour to ask for 2022. The Inverness Provost and Councillors have issued an invitation to folk to come along to Inverness Town House on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th December.

With the postal strikes, it may be that hard copies of our news-sheet containing this invitation don't reach those who aren't online on time. We would be really grateful if you could share this news with anyone who may wish to attend - but isn't digitally connected.

Some of our board members and staff hope to attend at around 1 p.m. on Friday 16th - so, if any of our members are able to be there at that time, please do come and say "Hello".

As ever, we look forward to hearing from anyone who wants to share information or their experiences with us.

We send you our Warmest Wishes in these cold times and three festive messages below!
