Kathleen Robertson is the Scottish Conservative and Unionist candidate for the new seat of Moray West, Nairn, and Strathspey. She is stepping into politics fully having worked as a vet, dealing with problems such as Avian flu in the Highlands and North East Scotland.
In 2011, the Scottish Government promised that they would dual the full stretch of the A9 between Perth and Inverness by 2025. Eleven years later, only 11 miles of road has been dualled. That's one mile a year.
Councillor Helen Crawford has represented Aird and Loch Ness since 2022.
Helen was educated as Alness Academy before going on to study Law at the University of Edinburgh and undertake the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow.
